Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to resume the operation of four bus routes. From Global Village on October 18, coinciding with the launch of the highly-anticipated Season 28 at this iconic entertainment destination.
The four bus routes are as follows:
Passengers can look forward to comfortable buses equipped with high safety features. The fare for a single trip to or from Global Village will be AED 10 (approximately USD 3).
In addition to the reopening of these bus routes, RTA is introducing a green initiative. Offering visitors the opportunity to ride on two electric bras. These eco-friendly transport options will be powered by renewable energy sources, aligning with Dubai’s commitment to sustainability.
The entertainment program for Season 28 at Global Village promises to be thrilling. Visitors can expect a diverse array of attractions, including weekly fireworks displays, dance performances, and circus shows. Acrobatics will be showcased by the talented Philippine troupe and Urban Crew, alumni of America’s Got Talent. For those who love Indian culture, “Mumbai Nights” will immerse guests in the vibrant world of Indian dancing. An exciting highlight of the season will be the “Cyber City Stunt Show,” where futuristic elements like flying bikes, LED-covered police cars, and even a tank will transport visitors to the year 2075.
To experience all these fantastic offerings, the starting cost of an entry ticket to Global Village is AED 22.5 (approximately USD 6).
This season at Global Village promises to be an exciting blend of culture, entertainment, and innovation. Making it a must-visit destination for both residents and tourists in Dubai.
The bus routes will connect Global Village with four major stations in Dubai: Rashidiya, Union, Al Ghubaiba, and Mall of the Emirates. Moreover, The fare for a single trip to Global Village is AED 10, and the buses will run at different intervals depending on the route.
Additionally, for the 2023-2024 season, the RTA will reintroduce the operation of tourist trips. On electric abras at Global Village by deploying two electric abras.
